We’re looking for a detail-orientated and enthusiastic Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer keen to develop their interest in test automation and work on an innovative and cloud-based manufacturing execution platform, Manufacturo.

What you’ll be working on

Andea is a global software integrator and development house focused on building cutting-edge solutions for the manufacturing industry. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTech, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.

This is an opportunity for you to join the SCRUM team and collaborate with fellow QA members and back and front-end developers to support the development of our manufacturing platform, Manufacturo. The successful candidate will have previous experience with commercial end-to-end (E2E) test automation of web applications (ideally) in Cypress, however experience with other testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium) is also welcome.

As the Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for software testing with the main focus on writing test scenarios, writing automated tests, and executing them to verify the software’s functionalities, as well as ensuring the delivered functionalities are of the highest standard.

Our tech stack

  • Our frontend is built in micro-frontend architecture, using the latest Angular. We write our end-to-end and integration tests in Cypress.
  • Our backend consists of several microservices written in .net core running in the Kubernetes cluster hosted in Azure.
  • For testing and deploying our code, we use CI/CD pipelines maintained in Azure DevOps.
  • We also have our own Angular Component Library.

What you will bring along

  • Experience in commercial test automation of web applications, preferably in Cypress (although Python/Selenium frameworks are also welcome)
  • Basic knowledge of programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • SQL knowledge
  • Previous experience with REST API
  • Experience working in SCRUM teams
  • Good command of the English language, both speaking and writing

Even better if you also have:

  • Basic Docker knowledge
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
