We’re looking for a detail-orientated and enthusiastic Junior QA Engineer keen to develop their interest in test automation and work on an innovative and cloud-based manufacturing execution platform, Manufacturo.

What you’ll be working on

Andea is a global software integrator and development house focused on building cutting-edge solutions for the manufacturing industry. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTech, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.

This is an opportunity to join our SCRUM team and collaborate with fellow QA colleagues and back and front-end developers to support the development of our manufacturing platform, Manufacturo. Although previous experience with commercial test automation in Cypress would be great to have, we’re also open to individuals with basic testing experience (including manual) using other testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium), or aspiring developers. As the successful candidate, you will grow into this position through our comprehensive onboarding training and mentoring from senior team members.

As the Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for software testing with the main focus on writing test scenarios, writing automated tests, and executing them to verify the software’s functionalities, as well as ensuring the delivered functionalities are of the highest standard.

Our tech stack

  • Our frontend is built in micro-frontend architecture, using the latest Angular. We write our end-to-end and integration tests in Cypress.
  • Our backend consists of several microservices written in .net core running in the Kubernetes cluster hosted in Azure.
  • For testing and deploying our code, we use CI/CD pipelines maintained in Azure DevOps.
  • We also have our own Angular Component Library.

What you will bring along

  • Basic experience with software testing, including manual tests
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Good command of the English language, both speaking and writing

Even better if you also have:

  • Basic or even non-commercial knowledge of programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Previous experience with working with REST API
  • Experience working in SCRUM teams
