Software Engineering Manager to lead and manage a team of software engineers and grow our portfolio of applications on a cloud-based SaaS platform we created called Manufacture. (www.manufacturo.com).
You have
Technical skills:
- Technical expertise: A deep understanding of software engineering principles, concepts, and best practices, and proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the job.
- Experience in programming in C#
- Experience in database design and knowledge of SQL
- Experience in a microservices architecture
- Practical knowledge of good software development practices
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
HR skills:
- Proven experience as Software Engineering Lead / Manager.
- Strong leadership and management skills: The ability to lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions, set and achieve goals, and inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best.
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management, and to translate technical concepts and requirements into business terms.
- Business Acumen: The ability to understand the business context and priorities of the organization and align software development efforts accordingly.
- Mentoring skills: The ability to provide guidance, and mentorship to team members to help them develop their skills, advance their careers, and achieve their full potential.
- Good command of the English language, both speaking and writing.
You will get extra points if you have:
- Experience in Azure or other cloud providers.
- Previous experience in CI/CD.
- Previous experience in Kubernetes
- Practical experience or interest in Manufacturing Execution Systems.
What you’ll be working on
You won’t be working on your own – each project is assigned its own SCRUM team consisting of Senior and Junior developers, both frontend and backend, DevOps engineers, product owners, as well as UX/UI designers, a software tester, and a business analyst.

Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Manage and lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Define and implement the software engineering processes, standards, and best practices that ensure high-quality software development and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers on the team.
- Work with product managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that software development projects are well-defined, well-planned, and well-executed.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and departments to ensure the successful delivery and integration of software components.
- Manage and oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of software engineering talent.
- Occasionally work on coding tasks to keep technical skills sharp and stay up-to-date with the codebase.
Our tech stack
- Our frontend is built in micro-frontend architecture, using the latest Angular. We write our end-to-end and integration tests in Cypress.
- Our backend consists of several microservices written in .net core running in the Kubernetes cluster hosted in Azure. We use Azure SQL and Azure Blob Storage for data persistency.
- For testing and deploying our code, we use CI/CD pipelines maintained in Azure DevOps.
- We also have our own Angular Component Library.
