Currently, Andea is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Junior Software Tester to support our Project Excellence team with automated and manual testing of manufacturing execution systems (MES).

What you’ll be working on

Andea is a global software integrator and development house focused on building cutting-edge solutions for the manufacturing industry. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTech, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.

As the Junior Software Tester, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating and executing test scenarios in cooperation with the development team. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Creating appropriate test scenarios based on software specifications, as well as designing, developing, and executing manual tests
  • Consulting with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems and design the appropriate tests, and reporting bugs with detailed descriptions
  • Attending status meetings, providing oral and written reports regarding work progress, and participating in test reviews
  • Analyzing test results to ensure that functionality works as designed and recommending corrective action if needed, creating appropriate test data, as well as building and maintaining regression test suites
  • Tracking defects to ensure adequate resolution and providing estimates of quality assurance time and effort
  • Monitoring test execution, collecting metrics, and identifying coverage gaps to apply required corrections

You won’t be working on your own, and you won’t be left to your own devices as soon as the onboarding process is complete either – you’ll be a part of a larger team consisting of project managers, solution architects, and consultants, as well as other testers of various seniority levels to support you when needed.

Our tech stack

  • The primary software is DELMIA Apriso
  • For our database, we use the Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • For external system simulations, we use SoapUI and Postman
  • As to the backend, we use C#, Python, and Selenium

What you will bring along

  • A basic Microsoft SQL knowledge
  • A basic understanding of manual testing
  • Knowledge of the ISTQB Foundation syllabi
  • Very good command of the English language, both speaking and writing

Even better if you also have:

  • Previous experience in working with global, distributed teams
  • Previous experience in testing, as well as writing and executing test cases
  • Knowledge of Postman and/or SoapUI
